Somebody gave me this idea, I'd just like to know if it's possible at all...

Here it goes -
My father applies for PR and gets it > He goes to Canada > Stays for a month > Sponsors me as a child > I get PR > Father back to India > I Stay there and pursue my studies

I'd like to ask if it's possible at all...

On paper yes ..... but by the time your father gets PR and then you get PR ... it will be your child studying in Canada

If your father applies for Immigration today, it would take 4-6 years to get him the PR provided he is eligible.

By the time he will get the PR, you will not be deemed as dependant as you would have crossed 22 and it is unlikely that you will be full time student until then.

So, idea dropped......
