We have been to maroli ,a great restaurant with tasty food and prompt service.

this place has 2 serious issues of concern

1. they are in serious violation of fire safety laws. they have squeezed in too many seats over the allowed limit. if there is a fire, you will be trapped because of the way tables and extra seating is setup.
2. they cannot force compulsory 10% extra service charge on the bill. it is your choice whether you want to pay tips or not. ask them to take it off the bill or tell them you will report it to city of mississauga. i always tip in cash to any server if i like their service, never add it to the bill. the restts always swallow it and give their wait staff peanuts.

i am going to report both above matters to concerned city deptts as these ares serious issues.

I have been to Maroli and it was recommended by One of the most popular food critics in GTA. I didnt find the food that amazing, They claim to be serving Malabari Coastal cuisine of Food from Kerala ., But I think due to the heavy influx of white canadian customers they forget to add spices into the food.
I went all the way from mississauga and was very disappointed .,

But I must give the 5stars for customer service because as soon as I complained the owner was at our table and he took the curries and meats back into the kitchen doused it with crushed red chillies and sauteed it with some garlic and bought it back.

That attempt was futile cos all four entrees tasted the same. if you are unfamiliar with south indian cuisine or are only limited to eating dosa,s you might like this place , but if you are a foodie and have a knack for south indian food then you will hate this place.

Another add on , Does anybody knows a good Mangalorean Restaurant in GTA. ?

Try Udupi ............ I find the same taste as other Manglorean restaurants in the Middle East .... Its at 20 Enfield Pl.

Very interesting query from Varturam.

We need to first appreciate the distinction of Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.

There are plenty of people from Hyderabad, India and also from Hyderabad, Pakistan.

If VartuRam(I'm highlighting the Ram in his name) is asking about the Hyderabadi and their food then the place to start is this site, which claims that it is the OFFICIAL Hyderabad association in Canada.
