I have been following TSX:TPL for some time and when it was 0.95/stk, I had a TIP to buy and to sell at 1.50/stk. This was almost 20 days back. It touched 1.47/stk.

Now the same has got some excitement again and now it’s expected to go up till 2.50/stk with the news in the market.

TPL: The News
http://www.globeinvestor.com/servlet/story/CCNM.20100208.584283_3/GIStory/

I had it at 0.95/stk and sold it at 1.45/stk. Now I again have it at 1.81/stk.

What does the CD Investor Experts think about it?

BUY/SELL or HOLD.

That news article is from Feb 8th.
Wouldn't it already be priced into the valuation?

Yes the article is from Feb 8th, but after that article the TPL has been increasing...and the Analists say its going to touch 2.50/stk.....

Today although the market is down but see TPL it touched 2.04/stk and now its on 1.93.....

Since I bought on a good price I am going to hold it for some time.....

What do you say.....

Chandresh, I'll give you my personal life example. At my wedding my father (since I was to move to NA along with my hubby) gave me cash as my "dahej" (instead of buying, car, ac, all other things he gave me the money). My wise husband bought shares with that amount and we till today (from 1999-2010) haven't touched them. The amount has quadrupled in these 10 years and I think I wait another 20 yrs for my daughter and I'll gift her in her trousseau. I'm an investor.

I buy them today and sell them the same day making a small profit/loss…I’m a Day trader.

I buy them today and keep them for few days or months and sell them….I’m a Swing trader…as Choomantar!!

Jona
