The company SAS is in news because it is the top company to work for. Anyone has SAS certification ? I am curious about this. What are the prospects of this certification. How easy is it to get this certification. does knowledge of statistics play a major role.
Haven't heard any discussion in Chrcha about this.

I have SAS knowledge but haven't yet given a certification. I dont think a SAS certification can by itself give you a job...it depends on what part of industry you are applying to i.e. Pharmaceutical or Banking or health...if you have enough exp as a statistician then its enough to get you a job..offcourse hands on exp with SAS is useful but not a criteria...I suggest if you have job offer in ur hand and if the company is asking for certification then certainly go for it...if you need help in certification then let me know as I have all the resources...
