hi everybody,
i am an intenational student, i was wondering if i can apply for a temperary work permit from here or not,am i eligible to apply for one on the basis of high grades in the univ!!!.. i want to do some work in summer but i dont know.. if i could get a job without a work permit.. i request all of you guys please advice me...!!
I am here on a student visa, and i can do on campus jobs only but i cant find any job on campus so i thought of working offcampus.. but for that i think i need a work permit... so please advice me.. on how to apply for one and can i do that or not!!

little buddy. when I was waiting for my work permit back in 71, I was also delivering flyers to earn cash for survival. I am sure this gave you some hint, but then again it depends where you want to work. Or best, call the immigration folks or just look up at employment board in placement office.
A Canadian politician is the biggest violator/breacher in this country than u and me.

there is big BUT here.. the point is nobody is going to give me a job on a study permit and the question of illegal jobs they are out of line as its really really hard to find so called low paid cash jobs!!..i have tried to find some but no clue!!1.. can anybody help me !!

Try to register in some agencies If you are looking for cash jobs..
Lots of agencies give cash jobs...
Generally cash jobs provided by agencies are realy hard, better to find some cash job by your own contacts..
