For an experienced Engineer ( new comer to canada) and if he manages to find a job in his own profession, what could be the salary here? Assume that he is not PMP certified.

120-200K p.a.is starting salary for PMP certified plus benefits! Have you been invited for personal interview by the company or just asking?

Hope this helps!

WOW. What world are you living in;)
Thats not true at all. A good range is from 65 k to upwards. It all depends on the company and your experience.

Welcome to Canada!!!!
Canada is not like the Gulf /India where by when you go for an interview and the employer talks very nicely and positively that it means that you are selected for the job. It is not like that. The Canadian employer talks to everyone in a very normal / joyful positive way as they are supposed to treat everyone equal but behind the scenes they will choose the best candidate for the job.
Wishing you all the best

Peace by TK

In gulf, especially after second interview, if we are not happy with the candidate, we give some kind of indication, say that he does not posses all required skills.

This way the candidate can look for alternative options.

At the same time, if we happy with the candidate, we will not waste further time and we will not like to loose him for small difference in salary. We tell them that HR will contact for salary negotiation.

Definitely after second interview, the candidate will know whether he will be offered a position or not.

Here, even after two interviews, the candidate does not know whether he will be chosen or not.

As TK said, i can only presume that the employer has to give equal opportunity to every one whoever they have chosen for second interview as per HR norms.

This way there will be screening process in the second interview also and they will call one or two candidates for the third interview for salary negotiation............. and they can demand !!

Tedious process!!

Hello,

I have in seen in websites people drawing 45k also !

This is the minimum i have seen. Max is 130k.

As you said, all depends on various skills the candidate has and the percentage he scores in each skill, not just Project management skill alone.
