Hello,
We are moving from Mississauga to Edmonton and were basically wondering what we could expect that would be very different (apart from the degree of cold). Also:
1. Does the city have free programs for children such as the Ontario Early years centres?
2. What part of the city is the best place to live (accessable, decent, kidfriendly and cosmopolitan?)
Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Patriotic

In Millwoods, many desi’s are living and have everything that you needs like malls, schools, ETS bus service (not LRT though) and medical clinics. The rent is little bit high compared with north side but it’s safe for living.
Contact Millwoods Recreation Center. They are running different free programs (especially in summer) for childrens like soccer training. As discussed in other thread, if you interested in Swadhyay (Bal-Sanskar Kendra) , it’s good for children. In the local public library, they are also running encouraging program for children’s in this spring and summer vacation.

Thank you Cdn_dude and Taker!
My Family and I are moving to Edmonton during the summer and were wondering if anyone has their children enrolled in the cogito school program and was looking for some feedback and views. My daughter will be starting grade 5 this fall.
