Hi Guys,
My husband applied for visitor visa from US, they asked him to do the medicals.
He completed medical test in last week of Jan 09 and immediately DMP's office has send the reports to Ottawa office.
As per USPS tracking the reports reached on 3rd Feb.
However, upon enquiring status on our case, CIC replied that they have not yet received the medicals ????????
Does this mean they have not received medical reports from Ottawa office ?
Could some one please explain the process ??
If anyone has any number to call Ottawa office ?

First and foremost You have to be assertive. Which means that you have to provide them with the file number and the Parent's name and the name of the Medical Practitioner who performed the required procedures, the date on which it was sent to them and also who the courier was. Then provide them with a tracking Number and the date of the trace and the delivery.
Based upon this, request them to delve a little deeper and come up with a reply, which I should say will be very positive and should come up in your favour.
You have everything covered in your question. All I can ask you is give them as much information that you can possibly provide them with and ask them to see if it has been reconciled with the file to which it should be addressed to. Can you do all of this or find out for yourself if all of this has been done by you in the first place and also by the CIC Office to which it was addresses to?
When you do all of this you will know some ting more and also what happened.

give it some more time.. 2 weeks is too early to expect ur file to be updated...
