Hi Mahajan,

It is funny how you did not even get the check list and I got the same letter and checklist twice.One after the other day apart.

I applied for my parents sponsorship
May 2010 and I have just recieved the letter from cic
August 2013 stating WE WOUld NOW START PROCESING YOUR APPLICATION AND NEED ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

My question is what are the next steps?how long does it still take from now to getting a confirmation if approved?Can one of you pls shed some light

It will takes about 1-2 months to get approved, then file will be sent to either CPP-O ( Ottawa ) or Local Visa Office ( Home Country ) and then its about 1 year wait
