A visa for short-term visitors who are coming to the United States usually for duration of 3 months or less. One may not legally work in the United States on this visa; however, ..................

They will not permit some one on that visa to apply and get in, unless she has applied and got approval to get into Canada. It has to be done prior to her arrival there in the USA and then the student can travel into Canada via the States. The main reason is that they might want to meet the person and have an interview or a medical or both.

Please call 1-888-242-2100, i.e. the Call center and ask them too. You might get a chance to find out from them and post it here for us to read.

Hi readers,

No Clear picture yet, no idea that we can apply from US as on B1/B2 having Indian passport for Student Visa. Anyone come across with any kind of information in this regards, share with me /us. Best of luck to everyone !
