One of my friend's is going through a bad phase in her life. After a long abusive marriage (both physical and mental), she has decided to part ways with her husband.

They already are living separately and are in the process of legal separation.

Does anyone know of any support group for such women in Ontario (GTA) she can turn to for help, both legal and emotional.

She needs emotional support for obvious reasons and legal advice for property matters, alimony and child support.

Anyone been in this situation can PM me, I would really appreciate that.
