do u use u r fingers to eat food. how comfortable r u in having food with knife and fork. is it ok to eat with fingers if someone across u r table in a restaurant using knife and fork.
Well it will all depend on "food" I am eating . If it is a chapati with daal definitely I am going to eat with hand .
If I am ejoying a steak I will use fork ..

Think of a situation if you ordered big sandwich at a restaurant and the person across the table ordered a steak! I will be more than confortable using fingers.
Same goes with things like tacho's where all fillers/toppings come in separate plates.
It all comes down to what are you eating! It is as simple as that.

umm in that situation it depends whoz sitting across the table. if (s)he is desi then sure you can eat with your hand (fingers) but if it's someone else then i think it's better if you stick to eating tools ....

It all depends what kind of food I am having. I am very comfortable with the fork and knife stuff too. I dont care what the guy in front of me thinks as long as I am not being messy.
