I plan to travel in Mid-July from India. Can anyone sugget travel agents in chennai/hyderabad who can give tickets to my family and me at reasonable price? i would also appreciate details of cargo agents from Dubai

I have experience with them in Delhi, and my parents have used them for within India and abroad travel.

There is one agent in Delhi who gives Air Canada tickets at about the same price as that of Air India's. The name of the agent is Khanna Travels but I do not have the phone number right now.

you can try ISTC They provide a very competitive rates, and also if you are under 26 years of age, you can become a member by paying Rs 200.00 and obtain a International Youth Travel Card. This card gives you lots of discount on air and land travel.
U can check it out at the following website

Also if some students are traveling from India to aboard, then i would suggest them to definitely check out the website, they can obtain Internation Student Card and obtain many discount on stationery, travel, etc...

To get a baseline idea, why don't you call some travel agents first?
Or you can try checking the air fare on the Internet using travel portals like Expedia.ca, Travelocity.ca or the airlines direct websites.
