Query on Connecting flights

Hi All Desi bhayya's,

Am travelling in Sept. to Edmonton, via Toronto. It is confirmed that the initial immigration formalities will be done at Toronto Airport. Am travelling by Etihad, which will be landing at 0900 hrs. What should be the connecting flights to be chossen, 1200 hrs or 1430 hrs..?

I hope only two airlines goes to Edmonton from Toronto, direct.....Aircanada and WestJet...Any one wants to add anything to it? Pls....

12 noon connection may get tricky for you. Based on the crowd, you may even end up taking 3 hrs to complete the immigration formalities...

Thanks for the word of Caution to me Viggy......

I take that means 1500 hrs will be ok......

One more added query, how far is the Toronto International Airport and Toronto Domestic Airport?

R they at same place?

Pls. share views on this......that would certainly help me to finalise the flights.....

It is the same airport... but a large one. Checkout http://www.gtaa.com/en/home/ You will probably land in Terminal 1 and may have to get the transfer at Terminal 3.
