Also make an appointment with and call or walk into one of the Canadian Immigration Offices, close by where your Parents Live and discuss these items AND obtain proper details and application forms from them. They will provide you with PROPER instructions and HOW TO go about it in a systematic manner. The following is for your guidance only. There is a guide that comes with it.

NOTE:
{{The RCMP will send the results of the applicant's criminal record check DIRECTLY TO THE CANADIAN VISA OFFICE. They will not return fingerprints to the applicant. The normal processing time for a criminal record check is 60 days. The same applies to FBI clearance}

To start with , check if you meet the eligibility factor - meet the LICO requirement, are not on social assistance, have not declared bankruptcy etc. If you are OK with these, fill up the application forms, IMM 1344A, IMM 1344B, IMM 1283. Attach supporting documents as per IMM 5287 and submit the forms to CPC Mississauga.

As you have mentioned that your parents have US citizenship, you can mention the US address in the forms so that once you are approved as a sponsor by CPC Mississauga, the file is transferred to Visa Post in US.
