Whereas celebrating Holi in Canada comes, i think we should postpone the Holi date to around Victoria Day in May....and call it Canadian Holi....cos its a spring festival which we only get to see here in around April end/May.
What do you say? Can we introduce this new date in Indo-Canadian history?
Thinking of that, we should also bring Diwali a bit earlier around September...in Oct/Nov. too much winds outside makes it impossible for Diyas to stay lit.
