Hi, We are PR holders and are planning to come to Canada for delivery of our baby. Can anyone advise on below.....thx

1. How much approx. will be delivery charges (hospital charges etc)
2. How much time will it take for the baby to get the passport / local formalities completed
3. We have insurance but do we still need OHIP (had given back when we came from Canada)

I would presume people who would "spit fire" have nothing better to do. So would'nt really care. I presume this site is setup to advise / help people. So let's keep the rhythm going and try not to judge based on questions!

Let me be the first one to do that; in spite that I have many other better things to do. This forum (or any other for that matter) is not made for finding ways to look for loopholes which clearly points towards misuse of system. Ppl have and are contributing before they expect benefits. Your post also points as if others on this forum are OBLIGED to give you advices. Barasume has very clearly understood your motive and surely many others will; and hopefully you can expect more of ‘Fire Spitting’ in replies.

Hi saburi i dont adviced you to travel with a pregnant woman, as its not recommedable. And since your OHIP has not been activated yet, it will cost you lots of money, depends on the complications of delivery.

Appreciate New York your genuine concern and response. We are still debating...may very well end up deciding not coming there. Thanks again!
