What is the use you are going to put it for will decide mainly for the worthness of this Machine.

Over all for normal use the machine seems to be ok except RAM. If you can get RAM upgraded to 512 mb..

Thanks for your advise. The use is fairly normal, power point presentations to clients, mail merge, high speed internet access , uploading files on server using FTP, etc.

The best part is that the Best Buy is offering a 36 interest free instalment plan on the machine for a limited time.

The specs are not that great. Search around, you may find better deal. For $1,600+ including taxes, you can buy a lot better and decent notebook. Checkout dell, advertisement specials in newspapers, online retailers and try mfr. refurbished ones too.

The price at best buy is only 1299/ plus taxes.
