Hi All,
I intend to start an honest discussion on the article appearing in " Toronto Star " on Wednesday Aug 15th under the heading : Partition In India"
all the CD's who have read this article, please share your honest views whether you agree to this views ? have you ever felt like that in India?
I was unable to link that article in this post, and I may not be very good in expressing my views but this is a very serious issue and respectable paper like "the star" publishing such stories which is touching the nerves of the "Indians" without any statistical data supporting it is simply unpardonable.

This is not only a recent incident. Western media is always trying to humiliate India or they are jealous of prosperity of India for years. We had experiences since independence. Partition was encouraged by this people, in mid 80's our country passed through a century's worst terrorism which was encouraged by whom? Again they are pouring a salt on our wounds.
I am surprised for the author of this article that the intellectual people should act wisely and moraly towards there own people and dont be a weapons of so called polished and humane, sophisticated western politicians. It's time for us to beware and I hope now a new generation of Indian origin throughout the world must understand seriously and counteract on such activities.

There's tons of positive things to say about India. But the press plays both roles. You cannot tell a newspaper to write only rosy details all the time.
