I am sponsoring my parents under family class. I am having two doubts and hope to get assistance from you.
1. The income from Option C printout is not enough to sponsor and is much lesser that my actual income for last 12 months. So, I am proving my salary for last 12 months by showing pay stubs and all.
In this case, am I required to get the Option C Printout and fill it in the form whereas they will not consider it as a parameter for my income.
If yes, then from where I need to get it as the number they gave doesn't have any such option? How much time it takes to get this document from CRA.
2. I don't have Birth certificate (required as per item 11 of the Document checklist) to show my relationship with my parents. Can I use my Indian passport for the same purpose instead of Birth certificate?

1. You can order the Option C Printout by calling CRA at 1-800-959-8281. It usualyy arives in 3 business days.
2. People have used the the Indian Passport to prove their parentage for sponsorship purposes. Another option is to order the "Certificate of Birth" (not birth certificate) from the Indian consulate. This will be a certficate stating your name, place and date of birth, parents name, as recorded in your passport.

Yes, get the Option C and attach an explanation detailing the difference between the Opt C and your more recent wages. Also attach several paystubs. That should help.
