Massodji,
1) what is the future of a person who arrives on student visa to Canada..I mean can he/she apply for Permanent residence...get a work permit.

2) can family member accompany {spouse /child}
3) can one chose a different field to study....different from what basic qualifications one has.

- YES, IF HE/SHE MEETS THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR PR.
- WORK PERMIT IS TRICKIER WHEN U ATE ON STUDY PERMIT

2) can family member accompany {spouse /child}
- YES

3) can one chose a different field to study....different from what basic qualifications one has
- YES, BUT IT WILL BE IMPORTANT TO CONVINCE THE EMBASSY ABOUT THE GENUINENESS OF STUDYING IN CANADA. HOWEVER, THERE ARE MANY WHO CHOOSE NEW FIELDS OF STUDY FOR VARIOU S REASONS.
