Hi,

We are moving to mississauga shortly. We looked at an aprtment in 3695 kaneff crescent and 115 hillview crescent and liked both of them. Since we are new to place, we are looking for followng information to make a decision asap:

1. In terms of amenties (childcare, bus, train), which one is better?
2. Is kaneff crescent good place to live with a family?

Appreciate everybody's help in advance.

Thanks

Hi,

Your delimma can be easily resolved by looking at your priorities. It also depends whether you are Leasing or Buying as you will need to have a better understanding of the surroundings for the later option. With Lease, you can get out of the trouble anytime you feel you had enough.

115 Hillcrest:

It probably is the oldest of the 4 buildings there. It offers unobstructed view of CN tower, downtown high rise cluster and the lake if the apartment is on the East side of the building. West side , you will be looking into the lives of people living in 145 Hillcrest...and vice versa...:)

If you are employed downtown or your family needs to travel there too ofthen, GO train could be convenient. It however does not have an all day service.

Indian shopping is very close on Dundas and so are the schools. You may be able to find lots of immigrants in the neighbourhood and also easily find someone offering daycare from home in all of these buildings.

The building's entrance needs a lot to be desired as the gargage dump is just next to it. The management is trying to fix this problem and building an enclosure that will fix this ugly sight.

3695 KANEFF

One of the good buildings to live in. Promixity to Square One and access to Mississauga transit with connectivity to Subway, Hwy 403, Grocery shopping (food basics, A&P, etc etc), not too far from Dundas Indian Shopping area. Buildings are well maintained, however the buildings are old and unless the owners have spent some money in interior renovation, the unit will look dated. The units are more spacious compared to Hillcrest.

You REALTOR will be able to advise you more about these in detail if you put questions to him/her.

Hi Delhigirl,

Just wondering if you could let me know the high school servicing this area? My family and I are moving this summer and we are looking at renting for a year.
