Assalamualaikum Mr. Masood.

I have sumitted the sponsorship application for my parents and brothers (dependent full time students 14&23) in may 2006. since then i haven't heard anything from the CIC.
Whats the processing time as i have heard lot of different opinions with this parental sponsorship matter?

My dad who resides in dubai is on the verge of retirement and as per the law he has to back to home country if the visa doesnt extend.

What If we tansfer the file to home country India, will the processing time count from day one or from the change of embassy destination?

Please advise.
