I know I have it :) and you know me.

Even though few people have landlines - $5 still is next to nothing. As long as immediate families have land lines. You can even get Primus VoIP phone n bundle long distance. And as someone said, its 50 countries - I use it for UK, AUS & NZ. Works just perfect for me (as my parents also here) - more than atleast 2000 min a month.

Folks ,

I checked the Primus site and could not find any reference to this 5/- unlimited calling to India . Can some one provide a link please or is it available only through csr .

Hows the call quality ? There are 2 types of connectivity - VoIP & fiber optics .... the latter being dedicated and clearer .... basic difference b/w Bell & Rogers and for that reason b/w Primus's broadband and basic home phone service ... I ve tried the VoIP ld calling but not fully satisfied .

I was contacted by a CSR yesterday who offered 2.9 c/m to India ,fiber optics (not VoIP ) , LD service attached to your phone line , no monthly charges , activation or cancellation fees .... plus if using e billing , they will provide 30 mins extra per month for the first 6 months .... Sounded neat , they are based in Markham ... The link is http://www.wlink.ca/html/English/longcall_english01.htm .

Has anyone tried them ? I am currently using Call Select @ 3.9 c/m (again fiber optics ) but would readily give this one a try as CS charges a monthly fee also ... Comments ?
