Comwave for long distance calls

Hi Cd's,

Did anyone try Comwave for long distance calls?

One of their representatives provided two numbers viz; 1-877-474-6838 & 519-341-1800 and indicated that upto $ 5 it is free and after that the customer would be billed.

I have been using Reliance and Just Voip for long distance calls especially to India and USA and hence not sure if this will be a better option.

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

stay away from them, lot of billing issues.

I have not used Comwave, but recently started using localphone.com

Its a UK based company and there rates are lowest I have seen. All there rates in US $
1.5 cents to India cellphones
1.7 cents to India landlines

Plus you can get upto 10 local area code phone numbers to assign to any long distance number. This way you can use there service from your cell phone as usually local calling on cell phones might be plenty in the evenings.

Comwave have started billing just after their promotional call. They are falsifying by saying that the customer has agreed to their terms and conditions but nothing happened of that sort.

Now they are threatening to refer to credit bureau for non-payment.

Excellent example of selling in North America.

Did you sign any agreement with them....on paper. If not, ask for a copy of same. If they do not have a copy then they can not do anything.

Reporting to Credit Bureau is always a first threat and last resort because it costs companies.
