Heads Up for the COMWAVE Users

Comwave is a big cheater ...........
If you are using comwave blindly then you might be ending up with to 20 % more minutes than the actual usage.
It means if you call for 20 minutes then your account will be charged for 24 minutes and this will happen with all of your calls which will ultimately result in higher monthly bill by

This is comwave's default setting and we are four people who has experienced this with comwave. But once you find out that your account has been charged more than what you have used and if you talk to Customer service then they will remove this setting from your account immediately and then you will be charged on actual basis.

This means they are intensionally cheating us.

I use localphone.com - the call quality is great, rates are low, send SMS from your account, has VOIP - so I can call from my laptop to India from any place that has WiFi.

Please stay away from union telecom as they are scam. They say deposit and then later on if you cancel they will tell you it was activation fee. I asked them specifically that if the connection fee was per call but they said it will be one time per country but in my bills i can see it that it was per call.
Just for information Sears has started including the cell phone calls also in 800 Min. I am thinking of moving to Vonage as it is unlimited calls to india.

well, when the compnay local line doesnot work, how india will work:d

Primus is on Bell Network . Primus does not have their own network ... So if Bell works for you , so will Primus and they are better priced .

Primus is better priced as long as you do not need their customer service. That is how probably they make money by cutting down on customer service.

And I would prefer lower price to an superior customer service ... Would not wish to pay extra for it ....

Hi All,

Please advice how good Primus works. They have 1 year contract for 40 dollars per month(Home phone and Internet(1Mbps and unlimited download)). I am looking for the deal, but not before someone puts a stamp that makes it worth the effort. If you pay 5 dollars extra in this, you will get free calls to India on Landlines.
Another option is Bell Internet + Vonage Phone. Vonage is offering 24.99 per month till 15 decemeber for 1 year contract, which includes free calls to India both on Landline as well as Cell, Currently am using Rogers but switching on to Primus or Bell because of high pricing.
