Wondering if there were good moneyback life insurance options in Canada similar to lot of options in India[including LIC].

Most of the life insurance options are pretty standard here in canada.

In India, we know of lot of good options where one gets fixed amount every 4 or 5 yrs or one would pay premium for only certain no of years .

But have notheard of any such in Canada.

Also, would like to know which is a good company for life insurance or critical insurance.

Life Insurance Corporation (International) B.S.C.(C) is offering money back policy in U.S. Dollars to NRIs. But they are operating from Bahrain.

One of my friend working in Europe took this type of policy. Where ever you are at the time of maturity they will deliver the draft in U.S Dollars.

I recently bought a life Insurance policy (not a term insurance) from AXA Insurance. For 3 of us (self, wife and kiddo), insured at 100K each, the premium works out to $3500/yr to be paid for 10 yrs only. $100K will be paid at death or age 85, whch ever occur earlier.

If death occurs within the first 10 years, then the benefit amount is $125K instead of 100K

U can get cash surrender value(csv) in certain whole life policy.

Here life insurance with limited pay options available,where you can pay premium for 15,20 or 25 years,then you dont have to pay premium & your insurance will be covered for life time.
