Can someone suggest me about job scene in Calgary.Lot of people say that anyone gets hired over there.
I just finished my Engineering degree from here and I am now looking for jobs over there.

You have to write to the employers directly, You must be familiar with sites like workopolis.ca, what branch did u do ur engg. in

We (weapplyforyou.com) have put a lot of engineering students and experienced people in Alberta. Its not that simple. There are jobs but they are not just looking for anyone. You have a better chance of getting job if you have some expreeince (the problem is they are so busy they have to time to train). The other thing is to consider using a local address.

Its interesting as we monitor the emais of so many people that we apply for and see many trends in Alberta. ( We typically can apply to 800 companies in the oil and gas sector)

Calgary job market is very hot for experienced people. Mostly in the oil and gas side people who have worked for EPC companies etc... Edmonton on the other hand is more hands on people with mfg experience.
