Equivalent of NOAA Weather radio system

Does any one know if Canada has an equivalent system similar to NOAA Weather radio system in the USA?

I believe NOAA weather radios are quite helpful when you travel through remote areas since they automaticallly switch themseleves on when there is an emergency/bad weather.

OK, Here is the answer I found by googling in 5 minutes!! I am posting it for other's benefit- NOAA's equivalent in Canada is called 'Weatheradio Canada'.

You can get the recievers from various retailers - here's a partial list:
