All,

My parents are visiting US and had applied for a Multiple entry visa for Canada. They did get a 10 yer multiple entry for the US and subsequently booked tickets for 30th of this month.
subsequently they applied for the Canadian Visa ( assuming it would be processed in couple of days, they recd a letter to do their medicals. I understand that the medical process could take two weeks. By the time we hear from the Visa office, they would have left for US.
They have to fly on the scheduled date as there is a family emergency in US.
Can anyone advise me on the following issues:
1. If the Canadian Visa office in Delhi approves their case, then is it possible to have the passport stamped in US on the basis of file number. We canot afford to pay another set of visa application fees for a fresh process in US.
2. Can my parents have the visa stamped at the border post.
3. Any other advise will be appreciated.

the visa can only be issued by the office that processed the application. they will have to re-apply.
