I hope many folks watched "Time to Kill" movie on TV yesterday. Though I've seen it before, I was really caught again and held in my couch...

Did you folks like the Movie ?

Well, to some extent this movie brings out the scene of 70s life in US suburbs and villages, plus something about "KKK".

I've always remained a big fan of "John Girsham's" novels... and some of his movies were something I enjoyed a Lot (recommending to folks who enjoy movies with lots of Court argument, Legal Scandals, Jury system, etc.., etc.) Being a lawyer himself, he writes mostly Lawyer related stories except the "Painted House" which I beleive is his own story and wasn't really something I enjoyed....

1. The Firm
2. Run Away Jury (Due to its momentum, better watch in DVD than Theatre, so that you could pause and play).
3. Time to Kill.
4. The Client

Movies I haven't watched..
1. The Chamber
2. The Pelican Belief.
3. The Rain Maker.

Have a good weekend........

I have read, I think, all his books and love them. Also, have seen all the movies based on his books and I think the Pelican brief was really good too and so was Run Away Jury. In Time to kill - the closing statement was just superb, when the lawyer relates the story of a kidnapped and raped girl - and then says - the girl was white!!!! The Firm was what made me get hooked to his books - but the movie could not do justice to the book, as is usually the case.

Yep, you're right. The verdict scene was the crown of the Movie...
Both Kevin Spacey and Matthew did their roles good.

I still wonder why his novel "The Broker" has not been filmed. One of his best thriller. Boy! I did a non stop and finished the novel less than two days.... sort of offered a imaginary tour of Italy..

"Run Away Jury" was blazing fast, I doubt I could've followed the movie fully unless I played it as a DVD (Needed to Press the Pause button to recollect the scenes to maintain a continuity)....
