The reason why mush is not recommended on dark skinned south indians is that can't cut their mush properly. Most of them cut in very unevenly. If you see the middle eastern people in Canada, they all go to the barber, twice a week, to trim their mush and hence they look macho.
So I would recommend every south Indian, sri lankan, dark skinned indian to remove their mush so that they look presentable.
