Hi,
I wonder if some one could refer/point a good Medical Insurance company (Ontario) they used (they are aware) for the first 90 days before receiving coverage from State of Ontario.
Precisely, I am seeking suggestion about the best Insurance Company who provides Medical Insurance to the Newly Landed Immigrant for first 90 days.
I researched and found various Medical Insurance companies through settlement.org, as the number of providers are high the question around them has also risen to its height.
Also, what would be average cost per month?
I prefer to use this just in case of an emergency?

I took medical for my mother. 90 days
Rates differ with age.
All insurance Co sells traveller insurance, I bought from one from my friend who deals in all insurance co. He gave me all options.

There is no such thing as best Insurance Company. Rates depend on a number of factors. Your best bet would be to shop around. Try going thru agents they will do the ground work for you and should be able to get you a good deal.
...and what do you mean when you say... 'use this just in case of emergency'. If a medical situation exists at the time of buying insurance then your insurance will be declined.

The insurance brokers (not agents) can show you comparision of rates on their laptop. Call them and they will come to your home. Also please note - you have to buy this insurance within 10 days of landing.
If you don't know anybody I have a friend who does that. PM me and I can give you contact details.
The rates varies on age - ranging from 1.5$ to 6.0$ a day. Someone need to varify this.
