Is it better to buy medical insurance for the visitor coming on visitor visa from India or in Canada.
I believe these are hospitilization insurance only and does not cover general visits to the doctor.
My personal opinion that even though it is cheaper to buy in India, it becomes difficult to get reimbursement, as we have to submit all the bills in India, is this right?

I had posted this to another Desi for him to consider and use if found suitable. You may likewise use their insurance feature. Please call them and consult.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Side Note: It is available to visitors also. I worked out a quote for an individual aged 49 for a period of 88 days and it came up with $432.25 for single person. Sum insured for is $100,000
