HI dear friends i am PR and staying in Canada.NOw i would like to sponcer my wife,who is in India.

I know that there are 3 forms,Sponcer ,immigration and some regional forms.What i understand is i have to fillout Sponcer forms,immigration and regional forms should fillout by my wife,who is in India.And she has to send me all of them along with medical receipt to canada.And then i have to apply to missasaga.
IS it correct process? Or am i wrong?
Other thing is Should i have good job in canada to sponcer my wife from India?.

yes sponsership form is to be filled by u and the rest by ur wife , n she should send the completed forms along with the medical to u , then u can submit forms along with all the required documents to the mississuaga office........ and to sponser wife u dont have to show any income, if u have a job then its good if u dont have a job its also OK b/c as i said there is no requirement of showing income to sponser your wife.

We are currently in Middle East but wud be staying in India for 02 months b4 June when I come over to Canada 2.5 years after my initial landing . I wish my wife's sponsoring to complete asap.

In this regard and viewing the above info pls advise whether we can fill all the forms and get her medical done whilst v r n India and I can carry them 2 Canada and file an application @ Msga ?

Are these forms downloadable and does their filling in require my presence in Canada ??

You have to submit it by post to mississauga.
Though technically (by cheating) you can apply for sponsering from outside canada, the law requires that you sponser your wife being physically present in Canada. Sometimes if the documents are insufficient (i mean your doc's) they may have to call your local number or post to a local address to get the answers or you have to get a dependable lawyer/ friend in Canada for the follow up.

Thanks 4 the info. I understand that medicals cant be done w/o applying and applying has 2 b done @ Msg . And no , I dont wish 2 do anything illegal ............. Since there were 2-3 forms and some other formalities , I just wished 2 complete as many formalities as possible during r stay in India (like filling in of Application form and others ) and carry them 2 Canada in June when I shall apply .

I m sure the medicals will be requested by the Canadian Authorities and only then we can submit it ........ pls correct me if I am wrong.

I shall download the foms .

1. I landed @ Canada in 2003 & returned 2 Gulf after which I got married .So my wife is not a PR and I need 2 sponsor her .

2. I am landing finally for a 2nd time in June after spending 2 months in India (April & May ) . I m currently in Gulf.

3. Although I shall be applying only in June ..... I needed 2 know what all formalities can I complete while in India during April - May so as to quicken the process & saving the time of her mailing the docs 2 me .
