I visited canadiandesi.com. Everybody has shared their experience. It is a very good site maintained by desi. I am IT Tech professional (over 7 yrs exp. in IT). Major in Microsoft Technology (ASP.NET, C# , VB.NET). Could you please guide me that which city has more opportunity like Calgary, Toronto etc.... What other skills set I have to develop to get a nice job in Canada? I am coming to Canada very soon.
I saw there is good opportunity for SAP. Should I learn it before I come?

Come to Canada and then try to get a job in USA. It may take time but if you start planning for it now you would be a Happy Camper. We were in Canada for 7 years and now my husband got a job in Seattle.... we love it. Believe me it's much better.
Lot of people do the mistake of not aplying for Canadian citizenship on time. Get your citizenship ASAP so that it would be easier for you to travel to USA. That's my personal experience.
Toronto is a lot better than Calgary for IT especially if u have US experience.
If u have no US experience Calgary might be slightly better as most IT folks in toronto do not want to move there..
When i moved last year i chose toronto because it is the biggest city in the country.. and i have no regrets.. Got a job in a month (Java)
There is no harm in learning SAP , but there are a lot lesser jobs in SAP in canada.. Know lot of people who have struggled with SAP skills.. Even if employers hire SAP ppl it is usally a fly in and out situation and they need citizens who can get TN visa..

For a number of reasons. The job market is huge here and it is sustained. The market in Calgary is due to the oil sands and the IT market there may not be sustained over the long-haul. Ottawa is also a good option for those in IT. SAP is not as big as you think it is and I would not do it at this time. You can always do it when you are employed and with the employer paying for the course.
I was going to crack a joke about going to Seattle (being the MS guy that you are) but i have to warn you about completing the requirements for your Canadian citizenship.
