Charlie, I really couldn't afford to have my parents over for wedding. We just didn't have the money. If she visited India, we would have spent money we might need for lawyer, my ticket etc.

That said, I do see your point. Maybe its not always best to say the truth. Noted.

I am as positive as Massood is in this case .......... A genuine marriage is genuine and let them prove it to be wrong and fake ......... They can delay the process , they can dish u unwanted qs ...... but they can t refuse u unless they have strong evidence against u ................

And that strong evidence can only b ur wife s statement against the marriage which if she doesnt give they cant and shudnt refuse u .......... it is unjustified .........

And as long as u answered honestly , dont fear .........if u have been rightfully married stick to it and no matter how non genuine ur reasons may look 2 b , stick 2 them as they are right in ur case .

NEVER NEVER LIE IN VISA circumstances ........... If she finds a single lie in ur statements and she s able 2 prove it ............. anything else wudnt matter ......... and a refusal on a lie by the applicant wud not go down in future also .......... Do not lose ur integrity .

i bet manasvi is right, lying is never an option as these people are no amateurs they've interviewed so many applicants that they'll bounce back if a single lie is stated. From where i see...be prepared with a lawyer and stuff but dont jump to conclusions, as the decision has not been yet made. And for all we know it might be positive! Dont loose your sleep over it but yes be prepared if something like that happens.

you'll get through dear, it might take time but eventually you'd be there with your wife in Canada. If u're true and right believe in urself and half the battle is won. put your efforts but leave the rest to God.
