I came to canada in oct 2004 on study permit, and applied for PR under the skilled worker category from Biffalo in march 2005. (by that time, i had got a work permit that entitled me to wrok anywhere as long as it was a part of my study).
I already did qualify for the 67 points even before coming to Canada.

after finishin my course in June 2005, i got myself another work permit, valid till Oct. 2006, under the post-graduation work permit.
with that, i m currently working full time, in my field.
recently, i sent a letter to the office in Buffalo informing them that i have another work permit, and a full time job.

i would like to know, how long before i can expect my file to be processed ?? (i got my file number in March 2005.)

also, if i am called for an interview in Buffalo, will i be able to get a U.S. visa for that ???
