Hi Everybody,

There has been various reports regarding delays in processing times and most of the Visa offices reaching their quotas before the end of this year.

Is this due to the court settlement order which throws up more than 120,000 applications for review?

and if that is true, how much delay can be expected in processing times at buffalo given the fact that most of the people being reviewed are likely to be from New Delhi.

I know nobody can predict it exactly but some people might have got some reply from CIC Buffalo or elsewhere or have some other information to share that can give us some idea regarding this.

Mr. Massood, as you are an immigration lawyer, your inputs will be highly valuable.

we applied through baffalo in 2002 nov. we got our immigration nov 2004. it is slow but still quicker than India.

I have applied in USA, NY in Q1, 2003 and waiting .......
My friend who applied during same time did receive a reply from Buffalo office suggesting him to wait for 2006 first quarter.
"Hope new year , 2006 will be good"....
