I intend to study french is quebec for more than six months but as a part time student. Do part time students qualify for a student visa in Canada? I could find no information on this anywhere.

for a student visas it should be a full time course.

Thanks for your response. Where did you find this information? I tried looking at all the immigration websites and even tried calling the consulates but they don't have telephone consulting available. I have emailed the quebec immigration office in montreal and various consulates in the US. I hope they have a response for me soon.

Also, I intend to study 15 hours a week. Does this qualify as full time or part time?
