Here is the message I got in my personal mailbox, due to my membership on this site. It is sick, that the person uses Canadian Desi as a means to deliver spam. I wonder, if anybody else also got this message.
Hope that the moderator does the needful

Hello,
My name is ******* & I am from *********, India currently living in
**********. I am doing a part time business after work during my
unproductive time ( tv time ) & I would like to know if you are open
minded to to see the business plan. There are no commitments from both sides. We will come down to a tim-hortons close to your home and show the plan for about 30 minutes.
Please give a thought a reply to me at *&*&*&*@yahoo.com

Hi Meghal,
I understand your concern. However, there is no way to avoid this. People can't do mass mailings using CanadianDesi, however since we have the email feature to enable communication between members, some people misuse this to send spam. Unless you choose to, however, your email address is not visible to people it is not being distributed to spammers.
To me, the best workaround is to create a separate email address for CanadianDesi and use that instead of your regular email address so whatever spam you receive is isolated.
