Could some one please post their timeline for spouse sponsorship from Karachi/Islamabad. I am just curious as to how long is it taking nowadays. My time line is as follows so far:

Application to Sponsor Rec'd by Mississauga: July 26th/2004
File approved and transferred to Islamabad: Aug 25th/2004
Application for permanent residence rec'd by Islamabad and processing started: Sep 2nd/2004.

hey skali when did ya got married did you fill out sponsorship evalution form too beacuse i dont get it i m applying for my wife too she live in karachi we just got married i was wondering about that form do i have to fill that out or not

hey skali would you mind to share what do you send along with ur application kit i mean whatelse did you attached with it for exp pictures or stuff like that help me out here i m fixing to apply for my wife in couples days what do i suppose to send with my application soo far i got wedding pictures,emails from last years, plus she changed her last name on passport and id card now we both got same last name marriage cert,medical, police cert, whatelse do you think i should send help me out here plz

i didt filled out that one beacuse thats for common law

that one i m not sure abt it i never sponsor any1 before and i havnt sign as a co signer either so do i still have to fill that form or not

I know my friend brought his wife from pakistan Karachi one month ago. His case time line as follows. I dont know exact dates but know only durations.

* Recieved Approval from Mississauga in Exactly one Month.
* Received a letter of acknowledgement from islamabad in 15 or 16 days(processing started in islamabad) .
* Received Letter of approval (and islamabad HC asked for passport) in next 15 day.
* 10-15 days to get VISA On passport .

So It took approximately 2 months and 15 days for whole process.
