My case is about Islamabad .
Submitted to sponsor my spouse on 16th Aug 2007.
After Decission was made .
Received the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad letter about receving documents on 8th Nov 2007.
On 12th of dec 2007 received a letter to sub-mitt "more post wedding pictures" which were sent and received at canadian High Commission in islamabad on 26th Dec 2007.
Kindly advise , any idea how long will it take more ? As it will be all 6 months on 15th of Feb 2008 starting from the day (16th August , 2007 ) i submitted documents .

Your questions and doubts are genuine and all I can say is that the time span provided by you and the time to obtain such a visa is normally correct. In your case they may take additional time to review the materials provided and verifications that they require. The time taken varies from case to case.
In this regard, you should see the time lines provided by others in "Charcha" here on this site and see if there were any delays in other cases. Note down the cause of the delays and the extra time taken for resolving the issues in each case.
If you do not see any such reports from others, please ask for help from those who sponsored their spouses from Islamabad 'in the recent times' to provide you with the time taken for them to reunite with their spouses.

Could you please share your timeline??? when was your case transferred to Islamabad?? My husbands case was transferred to CHC after 19th Nov '07 but havent heard from CHC yet....not even AOR. Did you get an AOR?? After how long that it was transferred to ISB???
