India has changed for the better. Canada for the worse.

The traffic, pollution, population is still there in major cities - but corruption is definitely down.

Also things are more modern than before like Metros ( Subway trains ) , High Speed Internet, Smart Phones, Shopping Malls, Airports are more swanky, Customs don't harass you much, pre paid taxis, OLA, UBER have made transport easier & more safe now.

Customer Service has also improved a lot in most banks, restaurants, government offices, Income tax offices. Street food in some areas is now more clean & hygienic than before - not too dirty & unclean as before. Public toilets have improved - Not many people shitting & pissing on the streets as before.

Private hospitals are still relatively expensive - but costs are coming down. Also insurance and cashless policies have increased. Anything dental & Eye care definitely lot cheaper here than Canada.

Credit cards / Debit cards / Digital economy/ ATM's / Online banking / Online Bill Payment/ Online Shopping - more widely accepted and safer than before.

Modi is definitely changing things for the better.

The lower class is slowly rising and trying to become more middle class.
