Hi,
I am trying to apply for the tourist visa for india for 5 years.
Just wanted to find a few things:
1) Can I go in person or do I have to mail by passport?
Is it safe to mail the passport - since I dont trust the embassy of india staff ... btw dont want it getting "misplaced"
2) Do I have to send my original PR card? or is a photocopy sufficient?
3) what kind of pre paid self addressed envelope do I need to buy from Canada Post.
I mean the size.
4) For paying $200 for the fee, I am a bit confused.

Do I use the Draft service which costs $7.5 or Cheque Certification which costs $10 bucks.
Thanks

Hi,
Can you please recheck what you mean by "
>>
2) You do not need visa if you have a PR Card. Visa is only for Canadian Citizens"
I am not a canadian citizen. Therefore, I am a citizen of a third country ... and my status in Canada is that of a permanent resident.
Therefore, I believe that I need to send my passport and canadian PR card.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks for your help
Hellooo ..
Somebody is trying to help you . Never realized that
1. you can answer your own questions
2. Everyone else will be able to assume that U r a citizen from third country .
It helps if you give all your details in the first posting ..
