Once again thanks to my wife, I listened to the recently released soundtrack of Abhishek Bachan's upcoming movie "Delhi 6" and boy its just freakin mindblowing. I read some reviews and people call it his best work till date and I am very inclined to agree. Give it a shot.
Other than the audio files itself, you may need one more thing - an open mind.

You know we should have a section where we can upload Mp3's. Individually we all may have a good collection and collectively it could be a master piece as opposed to having to go to all the download websites... just a suggestion!

I completely agree – we should have special section for “ ENTERTAINMENT” not only for MP3’s , may be TV show, ,movies , Games (specially kids) , books

Even the promos looks interesting
Waiting for this movie
From New York to Chandni Chowk with over rated star kids in the lead(based on the video clips on air, no further insight)...hope the script and direction keeps it alive.
Music is typical ARR, grows on you...

Well, somehow I disagree for the first time with giving my marks to the maestro's work. Every ear is different to catch, but for me DELHI-6 album could not get its place in my ipod.
You know what, after reading your post, I did one more round on all the numbers, but could not find one matching to the demands of my ears.
May be that, I have to listen again and again, but I dont think the numbers such as, "Kala kala bandar", "Genda phool", "Delli-6" etc.. would have a place in my heart.
"Masakali" and "Dil Gira Dafatan (for its guitar touch at the start)" is having good beginning, but it gets down to nothing.
I think the only number, I may listen to more then one time would be ..."RAHENA TU" and it may have a place in my music library.
This is my input and no need to debate on this, please.
MY TAKE of recent times....."LUCK BY CHANCE" and "AASMA"...Just listen to these two albums, especially look at the work by SHANKAR,EHSAAN aand LOY for "LUCK By CHANCE" and off course the song, "MAN BANWARA" sung by RAHAT in "AASMA".
