This would be of interest to new immigrants with experience in Media ( Advertising,Radio,Television and Films).
Recently a group of South Asian Professionals in Canadian Media have got together to form \"Association of South Asian Media Professionals\" and will soon be offering mentorship and guidance programs to South Asian immigrants.
They would also be holding coaching seminars and already some of the big names in the industry and placement companies have agreed to donate their time.
If any of you are interested (either as a mentor or as a candidate) then please forward me a brief mail \"About why you should be a part of the New Canadian Mediascape\".

Hi shubi13,
Yeah, I am interested both as mentor and as candidate. My opinion is that even mentors can learn from people who have come from overseas in the field.
The mighty Star started its World section due to several of us from overseas who gave them the idea.Also to up its media coverage of the SA community thru Priti Yelaja and a few others.
