An experience with ICICI for account opening

Anybody has open A/c with their Hi-save savings account online or by phone.
They are giving 5% on US$ and 4.5% on can$ without any min. bal and no time frame. This account can be link to your existing bank a/c for deposit and withdrawl.

I know their branch service are poor ,but is it worth thier online banking ?

I wouldn't use ICICI for daily banking just because they don't have a good branch network & their service is bad.

Having said that, HiSave account is meant to be an online-only account. The only time you may have to talk to someone is when opening the account. After that, everything can be done online. After all, its the highest paying CDIC insured savings account in Canada.

I have been using this account for the past 1 year without any problems.
