CD's,
I had previously met with an Accident and my front left signal light is broken (the light bulb still works) and there is a moderate dent in the metal surrounding that area.
Now I want to take a G test. I am going to fix the signal light cover but i donot have the money to fix the dent (which may cost between $500-$750- A co worker in my office fixed a lesser dent for $750 cash).
Is it possible to take the Driing test in this car? What criteria will the driving examiner follow to not to brand my car as an unsafe vehicle?
Your expert comments much appriciated.

Just an update to the above.
I have to take my car with a family member to a Driving test on Feb. 09 of this year to Kitchener. After booking the test date/ center, I found out from Toyota sales center that the signal lights were out of stock and that it needed to be ordered from Japan which would take 3 weeks (much beyond the exam date). I visited a Junk yard near by but he does not have the spare part.
What can i do in this case? Can i risk taking the car without the signal glass (light is there and works fine) or would renting a car for the test turn out better. Driving instructors ask around $250 for Kitchener exam Centre.

Sidenote : A junk yard in Brampton said that he may get the signal light in a week but that he can give no guarentee. The Junk Yard's name is : AADCO

I have seen examiners objecting and refusing to pass vehicles for taking up test -for a small broken back yellow signal light . Looks like it's an iffy.
Might have to throw in the dice harder.
Keep us posted
Thanks
