What a difference in a day. Bubba wants to come around now. He and his passé neve gave a damn to democrats or the general public regarding Iraq or the ballooning deficit.

DIO,
How true. He will go down in history as the most stupid American president of all time ( though he was elected for a second term).
Iraq was a better place to be before these fools went in. I hope that atleast now some sense will prevail. Also it is heartening that Rumsfeld left. He was a good speaker but a foolish military architect.

More after shocks out of this Mid term elections will be seen in Canada and I see Stephen Harper lasting till Summer 2007 only. With support to Harper at 31% versus the Liberals at 28% this is a close race. It needs to be seen who will emerge as the next Liberal Leader in term the next prime minister of Canada again under another coalition government.

The next big thing coming out of the Conservatives will be on Dual Citizenship where the rules are going to be toughened and residency requirement to be put into place and also strict rules on Health Care and Pension policies will be announced which will once again make the Conservatives more unpopular.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
